TAS has invited Shanghai’s special-grade Chinese teacher Xu Jialiang as the senior consultant for our curriculum which is mainly composed of textbooks compiled by the ministry, and TAS textbooks, aiming at a comprehensive mastery of the four aspects of listening, speaking, reading, and writing consolidating our students’ foundations.
We place great emphasis on the influence of Chinese traditional culture on children. Because the student can’t understand ancient poems correctly, we designed a series of activities (such as poem solitaire, turning poems into pictures, etc.) to encourage children to read and recite ancient poems.
At the same time, Chinese learning in elementary schools also requires extensive reading. We have designed individual reading goals and book selection support for students of different grades in order to cultivate their passion for reading and rational thinking.
