Ms. Li Qian, founder and CEO of TAS Education, delivered a speech at the school anniversary celebration, reviewing the past ten years and looking forward to TAS's development in the next ten years.

Respected leaders, guests, dear teachers, parents, and our most beloved students:
Hello everyone! At this special moment, I am delighted to gather here with all of you to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Transformation Academy's founding. Today, we are joined by nearly five hundred students and over a hundred teaching and administrative staff.
Reflecting on the first opening day of our school ten years ago, we were faced with only five students (including my two children) and two teachers. I could never have imagined the scene we have today.
If I were to summarize the past decade in one sentence, it would be: "Over these ten years, we have never forgotten our original aspiration; it is because of our belief that we have persevered to the end."
In the past ten years, the school has gone through a major pandemic lasting three years, two relocations, and countless challenges and difficulties. We often lament that change always comes faster than planned.
The environment is constantly changing, and situations are ever-evolving, but what remains unchanged is our original intention. We exist to transform lives and train servant leaders through high quality education in a loving environment. As we all know, this is our school's mission ; this is our original aspiration.
This was the direction we set ten years ago, and for a decade we have firmly believed that our mission can be accomplished. Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
Therefore, today as we stand here, it will also be our goal for the next ten years to come.
To the students present, I want to play you a "sound"... Do you know what this sound is? This is from what is known as "dead week" at the University of California, Berkeley during finals week. At midnight in the dorms, college students are still preparing for exams and relieve stress by participating in a collective scream.
This recording was made by your senior sister, who was also one of those five students ten years ago and is also my eldest daughter. She participated in it as well.
They are close to Silicon Valley, the technology hub where the latest technologies are at their fingertips. However, studying is not always fun, and persistence is not always easy. What they are experiencing now may well be what you will face in the future.
Please believe that the future is written by you. So no matter how the environment changes around you, hold on to your dreams and continue bravely!
Today we have two witnesses among us, one is Principal Chen Wei from Shanghai Dongfang Jieti School, and the other is Mr. Mike Shackleford, whom many of you know well.
When I said "I have a dream..." they chose to believe in me. Principal Chen provided a classroom at Dongfang Jieti School for the five students of TAS, which became the starting point of TAS; Mr. Mike has flown over thousands of miles multiple times to accompany Renewal School through thick and thin over the past decade.
Let us thank them with warm applause! At the same time, please give yourselves a round of applause for choosing TAS and believing in TAS!
We hope that in the years to come, no matter what happens, please continue to persevere with TAS! Our mission will surely be accomplished!

Let’s take a look at today’s exciting moments!

The students from the TAS School Student Union spent thirty days, from idea to pattern design to implementation, and led all the middle school students to complete the entire work Mission T using sticky notes and cardboard to celebrate the tenth anniversary of their alma mater.

Over the past decade,

We experience cultivation, tempering and sedimentation.

In the years ahead,

The only thing we can be sure of is:

The environment will continue to change.

Education policies will continue to change.

We will still be in a situation where the tide is surging.

Renewal will continue to hold our anchor,

Then walk into the deep water.

The significance of education may not be visible in the short term.

But the power of life renewal will eventually be revealed in the long river of time.

Let us walk towards the light together and believe that the TAS mission will be accomplished!
