Today, on this bright and cool autumn day, TAS School ushered in a meaningful autumn track and field sports meeting. The whole campus is filled with youthful vitality, and the children are actively involved in various competitions and activities, jointly writing a wonderful sports feast.
Early in the morning, the school playground was already crowded with people. Each class arrived at the playground early, and the children were excitedly waiting for the opening of the sports meeting.
Guests attending the opening ceremony of the Games included: Ms. Li Qian, founder and CEO of Xinxing Education, Mr. Wang Wenbin, founder, Mr. Xu Junwei, consultant principal of Shanghai Xinxing School, Mr. Xu Han, chief principal, Ms. Zhong Yuwen, Chinese academic principal, Mr. Michael Shackleford, foreign academic principal, and Ms. Li Tong, administrative vice principal. Principal Xu and Principal Zhong first gave speeches, encouraging the children to pursue a better self and realize their dreams with a fighting spirit. Then a solemn flag-raising ceremony was held, and with the loud playing of the national anthem, everyone felt a deep love and high respect for the motherland. Finally, in the expectation of the children, the 2023 TAS School Track and Field Games officially opened!
In the morning, the games were very exciting - the children challenged their limits and showed their strength in the track events. Whether they were sprinters or long-distance runners, they all showed great perseverance and determination, igniting a fierce and surging passion for sports in the entire school.

In the afternoon , the teachers of the school also participated in the intense relay race and tug-of-war competition. The team they formed worked closely together, and each member fully demonstrated their potential, showing the infinite vitality and vigor of the school's teaching team, setting a good example for the children.
In the high jump and long jump competitions, the students worked hard and showed their tenacious fighting spirit, attracting the attention and applause of all the teachers and students. Every time they took off, they seemed to leap into the sky, showing their fearless attitude of challenging the limit and their unremitting pursuit of victory. At the challenging height, the children kept adjusting their postures and steps, and their jumps again and again seemed to tell of their spirit of not fearing hardships and having the courage to fight.
Then came the field events of the sports meeting: standing long jump, running long jump, sandbag throwing, shot put. The children showed off their agility and precise control. In the standing long jump, they walked steadily, ready to go, and jumped up, releasing their desire to fly in the air. In the running long jump, the children ran fast, jumped steadily, stretched their bodies as much as possible, and tried to break their own best records. In the sandbag throwing and shot put competitions, the children swung their arms hard and focused their eyes. Every movement showed their perfect control of strength and skills.
The following tug-of-war finals and relay races pushed the spirit of teamwork to a climax. The new children worked together, sweated, experienced the joy and power of teamwork, and demonstrated the great charm of collaboration.
