Course Overview

TAS Secondary School’s mission is same as primary school’s mission. It exists to transform lives and train servant leaders through high-quality education in a loving environment.

TAS integrates Chinese and Western teaching content and methods which learn from each other, and complement each other. We aim to help students cope with moderate external pressures and maintain their motivation and goals for independent learning, so as to achieve core literacy in different disciplines and continue to grow into lifelong learners with an international perspective and clear life goals.

Our Chinese and foreign teaching teams have worked hand in hand to carefully design the curriculum system of secondary school. The secondary school curriculum is based on the core subjects of the high school entrance examination set by the Ministry of Education, combined with American secondary school teaching methods to construct an academic framework.

TAS junior secondary school currently has eight core courses, namely Chinese, Mathematics, English, Science, Humanities, Physical Education, Art and Character Education.
