Through the TAS method of mathematics instruction in primary school, students master the basic knowledge and skills of mathematics, while experiencing and applying mathematics concepts, continuously improving their ability to analyze and solve problems, and gaining a solid foundation in mathematics for their future life and further development

The goal of our bilingual mathematics instruction is for students to develop their conceptual understanding and ability in English mathematics in order to reach the level of reasoning and mathematical problem solving of students of the same age in other countries around the world.

Younger students are full of curiosity and energy but have limited attention. A student’s attention span is generally “age + 2” (their age plus two minutes). Students in lower grades can only maintain 8-9 minutes of sustained concentration. In this limited time, students still have peaks and valleys in their concentration. Therefore, TAS teachers carefully arrange various teaching and learning activities in the classroom to enhance the fun while presenting a challenge and ensuring that students stay engaged and learn efficiently for the full 35 minutes of class.
